Job Summary

World wide fund seeks to recruit a suitable qualified and motivated individual to coordinate the implementation of an EC funded bio energy project

Description

Main responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with donor requirements
• Compiles project reports for various audiences
• Develops project annual work plans and budgets in partnership with key project partners
• Takes leadership in market linkage and business development for community enterprises
• Manages project budget
• Coordinates project implementation and liaises with project stakeholders
• Supervises project staff
•  

Requirements

Required qualifications

• Strong knowlege of product develpment, marketing and financial management systems.
• Appreciation of public sector institutions and national policy processes.
• An understanding of renewable energy issues, knowledge of EC funded projects
  will be an added advantage.
• At least a degree in business, natural resources management, development or other related qualification. A masters degree is an added advantage.
• A minimum of three years experience in managing multi-institutional projects

• Proven ability to work in a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural team
• A proven ability to plan, develop and execute business development strategies
• A self driven individual with a track record of achieving results in a dynamic environment
• Excellent communication, listening, presentation and report writing skills
