The University College was established through a Legal Notice No. 130 of 5th
September 2011. It is the successor of Machakos Technical Training Institute. It is located 1
km from Machakos Town along the main Machakos-Wote road. The University College
invites applications for the following positions:

TERMS OF SERVICE

•The terms of service include basic salary, a generous medical scheme, house allowance and
commuting allowance among others. Successful candidates will be appointed on permanent
and pensionable terms. Tutorial Fellows will be offered one (1) year renewable
performance-based contract, subject to their satisfactory progress in their Ph.D. studies.
Their terms will be converted to permanent and pensionable once they obtain their Ph.D.
degrees.

Title: Logistics and Warehouse Manager

Location: Western Kenya

Our client is looking for a Logistics and Warehouse Manager to build and maintain systems to track and secure inventory in our warehouses throughout Kenya.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Business/Development /Logistics/ Agriculture related studies
Three (3) to Eight (8) years of work experience and a passion for logistics/ agricultural development in Kenya.
Quick learner
Proven ability to set and meet targets on the job
Clear written and oral communication
Integrity and a positive attitude
The ability to train and mentor staff
High quality work with a strong attention to detail
Strong work experience in a busy Logistics/NGO environment
Very proficient and experienced with Computer Applications like Ms Office
Excellent problem solver, must be able to come up with and implement solutions
Leadership experience at work, including managing a team of people
Strong work ethic, willing to work long hours during busy season

Willing to commit to working in Western/Nyanza region
Fluent in Kiswahili and English Required.
Passionate about serving smallholder farmers

System Analyst
Industry: Construction
Location: Nairobi
Salary Kshs 100,000/- net
Job Purpose:
The System Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and developing IS, designing new IT solutions and recommending Software and Systems to improve the company’s efficiency.
•    Drawing up a testing schedule for the complete system
•    Management and implementation a new systems
•    Providing training to staff in the event of a new system
•    Keeping up to date with technical and industry development
•    Provide recommendations about accessing information and support
Knowledge:
The applicant must have proficient knowledge in the following areas;
•    Windows OS
•    SQL, T-SQL Knowledge/ Database Admin
•    VB6/Dot Net Application Development
•    Windows/ WAN
•    ERP Knowledge
Job Duties:
•    Analyzing the Company’s  existing systems
•    Drawing up specific proposals for modified or replacement systems
•    Working closely with developers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction

Skills:
•    Ability to determine work priorities
•    Ability to make decisions and take appropriate actions
•    Ability to meet schedules and deadlines of the work area

Education and Experience:
•    Graduate with a Technical Background
•    Over four years’ experience in a busy organization.

The incumbent must demonstrate the following attributes;
•    Strong analytical skills
•    Attention to detail
