Our client, a shipping manufacturing company is looking for a well experienced expatriate Projects Coordinator with good knowledge of government procurement processes, tendering and
•  
Working with project manager to understand and assist with tracking all work, task and project assignments.
•    Assist in developing a comprehensive workflow process for project.
•    Monitor and modify project schedule as assigned.
•    Maintain document control, database management, track project activities and team communication.
•    Assistant to the project manager
•    Maintain Project Manager Calendars.
•    Develops and maintains a detailed project schedule which includes administrative tasks and all sites involved in the project.
•    Procure
•    Gathering all project information: schedules, data requests, assignments, tasks, and project meetings.

•    Assists project team and team lead in strategic meetings and follow up with meeting notes.
•    Schedule project follow up meetings as needed.
•    Develops and publishes communications to project shareholders
•    Develops and review project status and reports.
•    Plan, arrange and monitor all shipping arrangements through to fulfillment.
•    Responsible to track project changes and produces updated site based schedule as agreed with engineering and project management.
•    Work with Project Manager to maintain billing, scope, materials, and other job templates.
•    File all project documents (hard and soft copies)
•    Prepare and/or edit meeting minutes, presentations and tables
•    Coordinate meetings, including travel arrangements and expense reports.
Skills required:
•    Excellent projects coordinator knowledge
•    Good communication skills both oral and written.
•    Be a mature and presentable person.
•    Willing to travels within primarily East Africa and Asia
•    A team player, but also able to work individually
•    Good time management skills
•    Database management
Qualifications
•    A degree within business and/or economics or a technical degree combined with business experience
•    Over 7 years experience from trading and/or shipping companies would be an advantage however applications from recently qualified candidates will also be considered.
•    Fluent in English is required, if you speak Portuguese or French this would be an advantage but not a requirement
