Operations Manager – Kenya
Our client, an international media
monitoring company is looking for an
Operational Manager to direct and
coordinate the operations of its office
based in Kenya.
The person will be responsible for
ensuring and improving the performance,
productivity, efficiency and profitability of
the office and operations through the
provision of effective methods and
strategies.
Main job tasks and Responsibilities
Ø Coordinate, manage and monitor the
day to day operations of the office
Ø Prepare and control operational
budgets; control inventory; process
salaries and plan effective strategies for
the financial well-being.
Ø Improve processes and policies in
support of organizational goals.
Ø Formulate and implement policies and
procedures to maximize output.
Ø Organizing recruitment and placement
of required staff.
Ø Delegate tasks and accountabilities and
Supervise staff.
Ø Monitor and evaluate performance.
Ø Coordinate and monitor production,
monitor performance and implement
improvements.
Ø Communication - Monitor, manage and
improve the efficiency
Ø Plan and support sales and marketing
activities.
Ø Assist in the development of strategic
plans for operational activity.
Ø Implement and manage operational
plans which may include travelling to the
main office in head office
Education and Experience
Ø Degree office administration (and
business - advantageous)
Ø Knowledge and experience in media
and advertising
Ø Knowledge and experience in business
and management principles and practices
Ø Minimum of 5 years office
administration experience
Ø Knowledge of financial principles and
practices
Ø Information technology skills
